The Collective introduces all new luxury brands this season with fabulous new brands in store.
The denim portfolio at The Collective introduces color – from saturated tones to ombre to pale pastels in the men’s and women’s range. Choose from a range of green, yellow, orange and more as True Religion highlights color through its signature logo patch and contrast topstitching. Subtler infusions of color are introduced through trims, selvedge detailing and upturned hems. 7 For All Mankind’s denim collection for the season interprets California chic in colors like mauve and pale yellow.
The Versace Jeans SS13 collection features the brand’s signature Greek influence with a modern take. Bright colors dominate the mood of the line with vibrant prints referencing images like the statue of David and The Thinker.
Browse Jacob Cohën, the world’s premier luxury denim brand & made from the finest denim fabrics, including Japanese karubo and American White Oak. The brand’s Limited Edition collection comes with all the frills, including the signature pony patch with silver logo, the finest linings & silk handkerchief provided for care of the silver rivets used.
The latest introduction to The Collective is Commes des Garcons Play! Designer Rei Kawakubo’s brand is anchored by the iconic heart print for Play, created by noted graphic artist Filip Pagowski. Building on standard wardrobe staples like polos and tees, the heart print changes graphically periodically, thus offering a new “Play” every time.
The casual wear collections are updated with a modern twist on updated classics from Simon Carter, Ted Baker, Hackett and more. Printed shirts are the big summer story – the liberty print & the sea creature print are key pieces. The Hackett Paisley Print shirt is easily paired with the Hackett Amalfi shorts in pink. The Hackett Westbury chinos are perfect summer pieces, in shades of navy and purple. The classic pique polo is given an uplift for the season with color and trims in gingham and paisley prints. Contrast these with Hackett’s Oxford chinos in bright blues, greens and reds.
French design house Paul & Joe debuts this season at The Collective. Designer Sophie Albou’s collection features a quirky twist on menswear staples with bridle tape detailing on shirts and trousers, with floral shorts and fun tees breaking the collection.
The designer collections allow for easy summer dressing with lightweight linens. The Armani Collezioni microhoundstooth blazer in soothing sand is beautifully matched with the flatfront linen trousers. Linen is the dominant fabric for the season, found in the Simon Carter notch lapel jacket and the Lagerfeld Safari jacket. Paired with the Armani Collezioni drawstring cupro pants, and a linen scarf as the appropriate summer accoutrement. Key pieces include the Vivienne Westwood pinstripe jacket in cotton with an integral vest and Versace Collection’s cotton shirts in bold colors.
McQ Alexander McQueen debuts this Spring-Summer at The Collective. Now shop Sarah Burton’s edgy ode to the McQueen legacy. Elevating streetwear staples to high fashion, the collection also features a more casual evening wear influence.
Womenswear at The Collective gets a whole new fillip this season with the Spring-Summer lines from Michael Kors. The diffusion line features strong, clean lines for the powerful, modern woman alluding to sensual femininity with fluid drapes cinched at the waist on knee length dresses and one-shouldered tops. Metallic accents such a chain link trims and leather strap buckles on otherwise feminine fabrics add an edge.
The Ted Baker Women’s collection offers a refreshing take on the Finishing School, where prim and proper meets truant. Schooled in the world of old-fashioned manners and contemporary style, the modern lady gets a touch of “international savoir faire”. The colourful Summer Bloom print is highlighted across tops, maxi dresses and knee length dresses, albeit with an edge introduced through knife pleat detailing, as in the Perlaa Wallpaper printed floral dress. The Bolty asymmetrical draped tunic is pale white and blush offers a delicate balance to the burst of summer color.
Love Moschino is now exclusively at The Collective - colorful, eccentric and always stylishly Italian, Love Moschino represents the best of high fashion while breaking all its rules! The Spring-Summer ’13 Collection from the brand promises you an exotic palette of citrus hues and vibrant summer prints.
Adding color to the lady’s summer wardrobe this season are the range of bags and clutches from Michael Kors, Ted Baker, Juicy Couture, Lulu Guinness and more. The Lulu Lip Clutch is introduced in all new colors and sits pretty alongside Ted’s bags and clutches in bubblegum pink. Metallic hardware and quilting add a luxe edge to the collection from Ted Baker.
