The Story of Hands

I feel the healing hands of nature
touch my heart and kiss my soul.

The Story of Hands
Hands live to caress and love.
Hands live to fight and die.
Hands live to create and destroy.
I decided to choose 'Hands' as a subject for my Alphabet H. I will be collecting 12 different images of hands portraying different emotions and meanings. I started with the above shot for this series.

I clicked this image in my college grounds and a friend of mine volunteered for it. In the above image - I simple wanted to portray as to how we connect with the nature and cherish it. The beauty of mankind as well as the nature. The greens and yellows  are contrasting with the red nail paints - We portray nature as a feminine aspect of our life, hence we call it Mother Nature. There are delicate wild purple flowers in her hands as well as the blurs portray the fragile side of our world. Overall, I found this image to be peaceful, delicate and heart warming.

I am currently brainstorming on further more ideas for Hand images. A few new projects are also in the pipeline.

PS: Life is super hectic since college started but its fun! :)

Great picture..... I can suggest putting up a "Diya" in hands with background in pitch black except for hands and diya.
